2025 Oscar Nominees / PREVIEW

For some time now I’ve looked at political events with disbelief. as if they were plots for horror films. Accordingly I’ve come to view them as entertainment: it’s all theater, all the time. The ‘top stories’ in the news - which unsurprisingly never seem to change - become the basis for a series of films. Biden, Trump, Hillary, and others are the “stars” around which the plots revolve. Somebody pass the popcorn, I can’t wait to see what happens next.
